If your Samsung Galaxy phone is still under the warranty period (which is usually one year from the date of purchase), then Samsung, through its Service Centers can repair it for free. However warranty only applies to defects of the device out-of-the-box, which means that any physical damahe done to the phone of your doing does not fall under warranty terms.
So, if you are having the phone repaired due to a damage done by you (accidental drops, water damage), you will not be able to get free warranty repair.
In order to check the warranty status of your Samsung phone, go to Samsung online and try to register your device and it should tell you whether it's got a warranty or not if it doesn't they still should repair it but they charge you a fee otherwise it's free.
