You will need following parts, a replacement Digitizer, a Hairdryer or Heat gun, a Suction cup, a Plastic Pry Tool, a Phillips screwdriver, and some Adhesive.
Turn-off your iPad Air and disconnect any cables or accessories attached to it.
Use the Hairdryer or Heat Gun to warm up the edges of the iPad Air's Screen. Be careful not to overheat the device or damage the LCD screen. Place the Suction Cup on the lower left corner of the iPad Air's Digitizer while continously heating it and gently lift it up using Suction Cup. Use the Plastic Pry Tool to carefully separate the Digitizer from the iPad Air's frame. Work your way around the edges of the device, being careful not to damage any cables or components. Once you have removed the Digitizer, disconnect all the cables that connect it to the iPad Air's logic board. (Very Importan).
